About Us – QR4DOGS Nepal

My name is Nar Bahadur Bhandari, and I live in Pokhara, Nepal.
I work as an IT professor and automation director, but my biggest passion has always been dogs.

In 2024, I lost my beloved pet dog Damik. He was more than a pet—he was family. Losing him left a deep emptiness in my heart, but it also gave me a new purpose: to care for every street dog in Nepal the way I cared for Damik.

That’s why I started QR4DOGS—a community-driven project using technology, volunteers, and love to make street dogs safer and happier.

💡 What We Do

🐾 QR Collars – Each street dog receives a QR code collar, so anyone can scan it to:

Feed the dog and log the food given
Report if the dog is sick or needs medical help
Register new street dogs without a collar
Share dog photos for awareness & contests

👩‍⚕️ Vet Doctors & Hospitals – Local vets can sign up to get notified when a dog needs care.

🙌 Volunteers & Public – Anyone can join our mission, feed dogs, and earn points.

🏥 Emergency Support – If a dog is found sick or injured, the nearest vet and volunteers are notified instantly.

🕊 Compassion in Action – If a dog passes away, reports are shared directly with the local government animal center.
